Background and aim of study:
The development of global interactions among regions
and countries causes the appearance of issues that
affect all society. This development includes:
competing targets and goals; methods of engagement;
conflict and cooperation.
In recent years, environmental problems on a global
scale that seriously affect the very existence of
humankind – global warming, the depletion of the
ozone layer, the diminution of tropical forests, and so
on – have increased in magnitude. It is generally
recognized that the problems are such that mankind
must tackle these problems with all its wisdom.
Such are the characteristics of the global environmental
problem that its solution requires the efforts of all
countries of the world, and international arrangements
to address the issue have been launched in recent years.
Contemporary issues have political, economic, social,
historic and geographic components. Approaches to
addressing global and regional issues reflect historical
influences and diverse perspectives. People can impact
global issues through understanding their essence.
Research methods:
A complex of theoretical research methods has been
used:
analysis
and
synthesis,
comparison,
generalization.
Results:
Among all good things in the world, and all the
progress being made in global issues, there is much
more need to be done. Given the overwhelming
disasters that nations, have been or still are going
through, it is important to know the most important
global issues.
The world has statistics and updates on the all
challenges we face as global citizens. It should be
noted that there are too many of them, from a global
pandemic, to climate change, to the highest rate of
gender inequality, and a lot of people living without
getting medical health care.
The main global problems of society are: global health
issues, ocean conservation, global warming, climate
crisis and clean energy, social economic development,
food security, hunger, water scarcity, issues that
require policy solutions, clean air, sorting out garbage,
endangered animals etc. The problems are global
because they apply to all countries need to be solved all
over the world by joint efforts and politics of all
countries. For instance, climate change is one of the main
problems nowadays. From increasing weather patterns
that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that
influents the risk of catastrophic flooding. Also,
climate-influenced migration of population and hunger
in a lot of regions of the world are now regular cases.
In current time, our threatened ocean life is not
protected. It becomes all too easy for planet’s natural
resources to be used from lack of protection.
Global issues require global solutions. When it comes
to solving main social issues through innovation, new
business models or global agreements, many
economists agree the problems are not technical; they
are mainly political and cultural.
Global political situation which we have now is
extremely serious. This situation clearly needs public
concern and awareness. It is certain that global issues
cannot be solved only in local level. However, they
should be studied locally focusing on a mass-movement
that would increase awareness of the austerity of the
issues as well as the lack of viable solutions. A
comprehensive view must be developing through critical
discussions regarding both problems and possible
solutions.
Modern society is transforming rapidly, and in this
growing and complicating era, there is a higher need to
include the global awareness issues in formal and
informal training.
The development of human society is in tight
relationship between the ways of development of
nature; however, at the same time human society and
nature as such have their own specific laws and rules.
The modern generation is facing many issues related to
social diversity and this requires them to focus more on
understanding the cross cultures. Such being the case,
effective preventive measures should be devised.
Conclusion:
Prospects for solving global problems will mostly be
determined by the level of development of the
individual himself, his behavior, his culture, the ability
to foresee the consequences of his activities, as well as
the type of socio-economic structure of society.
